White Glove Service – IT

As part of GBS Group’s motto of ‘being the best employee not on your payroll’, we provide services for one of the largest IT providers in NZ.
Examples of providing an invaluable service for this client is the ability for them to use GBS as a backup to technician’s onsite.
Delivering new computers to site at the time & date requested, then setting out computers according to workstation plans provided, for the technician to then install onto the network..
Once installation has been completed GBS then package if required & remove old computer equipment. GBS also remove old packaging for recycling as part of this clients ISO obligations.
This includes everything from a computer mouse to large network printers, servers & server racks, checking/confirming asset tags for the client and transporting this equipment nationwide as per the client’s instructions.
GBS also provide backup for data centre moves, providing handling, packaging & transport for sensitive server equipment across town in time critical manner for clients who are migrating into ‘Cloud’ based data centres.

Liaise with architect & builder to achieve design specifications utilizing current product stored at GBS Group by client & to facilitate transport of all offsite items required.
Transportation of installation in pieces without damage & deliver to site in corporate inner city office building, after hours, to diminish disruption to clients business operations.
Setup & layout items according to plans of furniture, accessories and large structure in time frame allocated.
Breakdown done in early morning to have building cleared & all vehicles and staff offsite by 7am to accommodate AGM being conducted that day.

White Glove Service – Commercial Fit out & Decommission

Liaising with procurement managers & builders for planning stages of new shops, refurbishing of old shops & closing of shops
Receiving, checking & storing of electrical goods, cabinets & displays etc. from suppliers. Follow up on items not received from suppliers by specified date/s, planning timing of deliveries, during & after business hours to minimise disruption to customers, work onsite & allow for constraints on work activity i.e. in shopping malls.
Removal & disposal of rubbish as required.

Time Critical Consignment – Nationwide Event Deadline

A Company running a advertising campaign at the New Zealand Professional Golf Open in the South Island had a dilemma when signage had to be redone.
GBS sent staff to the signage company and helped package the fragile signage as it was finished, so it could be delivered from Auckland to Arrowtown in 36hrs, for setup at an event that was viewed internationally.

Working with subcontractors’ onsite to gain access/egress of fridges (removal of shop front window).
